Cozy Pixel Fonts

Cozy Pixel Fonts is a set of 3 pixel fonts made for cozy games, farming sims and RPGs: a tiny font for HUDs and tooltips, a regular font for dialog and menus, and a bold font for buttons and titles. They are designed to sit nicely inside the panels and buttons of Cozy UI Kit.

The fonts

• Cozy Pixel Tiny: native size 9px, 5px tall capitals, for HUDs, item counts and tooltips
• Cozy Pixel Regular: native size 12px, 7px tall capitals, for dialog, menus and body text
• Cozy Pixel Bold: native size 12px, a heavier version of Regular for buttons, headings and titles (scale it up for big title text)

All 3 fonts use proportional widths and have no kerning.

Characters (207 per font)

• Full printable ASCII: letters, digits and punctuation
• Full Latin-1 Supplement: accented letters for French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian and other Western European languages, plus ¡ ¿ « » ° and other symbols
• Extras: Œ œ Ÿ €, curly quotes, ellipsis, bullet, en and em dash, single guillemets

Formats

• TrueType (.ttf) and OpenType (.otf) fonts with square-pixel outlines and correct metrics, so they stay sharp at the native size and at whole multiples (9, 18, 27px for Tiny; 12, 24, 36px for Regular and Bold) with antialiasing turned off
• BMFont files (.fnt text format + PNG atlas) at 1x, 2x and 3x for each font, white on transparent so you can tint them in your engine
• PNG glyph sheets showing every glyph with its code point
• README with setup tips for Godot, Unity and BMFont-based engines, and charset.txt

Every glyph was checked by rendering the TTF and OTF files at 1x, 2x and 3x and comparing them pixel by pixel to the source drawings.

How it was made

Hand-pixeled: every glyph was drawn as a pixel grid in code (Python) and built into fonts with fontTools. No AI image generation was used.

License

You can use these fonts in personal and commercial projects (games, apps, videos, print), with or without credit.

Embedding is allowed: you can ship the font files inside your game or app, embed them in PDFs and use them as web fonts for your own project.

You may not sell or redistribute the font files themselves, register them as a trademark, or use them to train AI models.
